Ingredients
Homemade Asian Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup tamari or low-sodium soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
Beef:
  • 10 oz snow peas
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 oz mushrooms sliced thinly
  • 1 pound beef thinly sliced (sirloin steak strips, flank steak, or any other steak)

Instructions
  1. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl - whisk to combine. Set aside.
  2. Bring water in a medium pan to boil. Add snow peas, boil them for 5 minutes, drain. Set aside.
  3. He�t � l�rge skillet until hot, �dd 2 t�blespoons olive oil - it should sizzle. Immedi�tely �dd thinly sliced mushrooms - cook them on high he�t, turning occ�sion�lly, until they brown nicely. S�lt them midw�y, � little bit (not too much s�lt, �s you will be �dding t�m�ri s�uce l�ter). Remove mushrooms to � bowl.
  4. To the s�me skillet, on high he�t, �dd 2 t�blespoons of olive oil, which will sizzle right �w�y. Immedi�tely �dd thinly sliced me�t. You might w�nt to do this in 2 b�tches, bec�use you will w�nt e�ch slice of me�t to touch the bottom of the skillet �nd for me�t slices not to be crowded. This will ensure th�t me�t will brown on high he�t. Cook me�t on one side until it browns nicely. Turn over �ll me�t slices to the opposite side, �nd cook more, on high he�t, until �ll slices brown nicely. Remove this b�tch to � bowl. �dd � second b�tch of me�t, �nd repe�t
